As a big brother, what is my job and responsibility towards my young siblings?

I can't be like mom to them, yet I don't want to be disrespectful or seem bully-ish either.

I am 26, my younger brothers are 24 and one is 21. We live together with our parents at home.

Well, you are all adults, so be respectful & loving. Resist having a critical & dissaproving spirit. I am 45, & my 50-year-old sister (the eldest) still treats me as her little sister who doesn't get it. As someone else advised, lead by example. Treat each as an individual with very real feelings, & as you would want to be treated.

Edit: If there's a specific serious problem that you see, try talking with them 1st, man-to-man, before you pass on the info to/enlist the help of your parents.

BTW, I didn't know my answer on your other similar question ever went through because I kept getting some sort of error message. That's why I never stopped back to edit. Sorry!

If you're the eldest then you need to be a good role model , and good listener ....in other words ...lead by example .
