Adobe Reader Error AcroRd32.exe?

When I press try to access adobe reader (via shortcut or the file itself) I get the message "Windows cannot find C:\...AcroRd32.exe". I've tried installing different versions of reader and I get the same error message. However with versions 9.4 and under, I am able to use reader for online web pdf documents, just not documents stored on my computer. Reader X doesn't work at all on my computer.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this or what may be the cause of the issue?

Thanks.

I would do what I call a clean install,

First I would uninstall it, Then I would go to my C Drive and delete the Adobe folder it left behind.

Many Programs will leave a folder behind when they are uninstalled and a few files behind. It helps to go look and delete what is left behind in C drive\Program files.

Then I would install it again. That is what I call a clean install. This might help. Anyway, Im posting a link to the latest Adobe Reader for download. This might help. Hope this helps

Adobe Reader is a trusted software you can use for reliably viewing, printing, and annotating PDF documents. It?s the only PDF file viewer that can open and interact with all types of PDF content, including forms and multimedia.
