2011 for me was a year of change and discovering what I want to do in life instead of just sitting around doing the same thing everyday. Some really close friends of mine dumped me because they thought I was "using them." I was upset at the time, but now I realized it has benefited me in the long run. I also gave up drawing, which was a passion of mine for 5 years or so. I have taken up writing instead. I also began to take my academic life a lot more seriously,
While technically I started my New Year's resolution at the start of December, I am still going to consider it a New Year's resolution. I basically want to do better academically. My middle school doesn't have any advanced/honors courses, so I get very lazy because I could just cruise by without any effort. However, the high school is crazy! It offers IB, AP, dual-enrollment, Honors, alternate school, and finally regular academic classes. If I want to get into IB courses, I have to take my academic life a lot more seriously. So that's my resolution.

I have one goal only and that is to: STOP PROCRASTINATING
I didn't have a good 2011 because I procrastinated way too much in school and my grades suffered a bit.
