I kinda have a tattoo I regret. It was my first one, done by a scratcher, on my back. It was when I was 17, I am 28 now. I went for it because it was free (first warning sign - never get a free tattoo.) It was a tribal about 7 inches by 5 inches. The guy doing it went so deep, the entire tattoo raised like a quarter inch off my skin and took 2 months to finish scabbing and healing. He used india ink, so the tattoo was splotchy. All around awful tattoo. About 4 years later (I was 21) I got it covered with some beautiful clematis flowers done in purple and turqoise. My real artist had to tattoo white over the tribal 3 times before he was comfortable enough to attempt the cover up. Tattooing over the raised scarring hurt beyond comprehension. It was by far my most painful tattoo, even worse than my wrist or my elbow. But it's pretty, and the raised skin is all you can see of the former scratcher tattoo. You can see it in the picture of my avatar. So now I don't have any tattoos I regret, but I do regret the 4 years I wasted with a horrible tattoo.

I don't regret any of my tattoos at all. I got them a while ago and still love them as much as I did when I first got them. The only times people usually end up regretting them is when they get something they weren't 100% totally sure about. Or of coarse a bf/gf's name and then break up with them. Also I recomend getting tattoos in places that won't affect you if you aver have a job opprotunity like you're uncle came across. Like for example I have some on my toes that can be covered up by shoes and on my lower stomach that are easily covered up. So to sum it all up just be smart about what you get and where you get them lol. Like I would'nt recomend getting them all over your arms or neck inless you know for sure they won't ever affect anything for you. :)

not me. I would never get a tattoo, and so I have no tattoo regret.

I feel so badly for Shygirl with her story. But she should have learned from her experience and had it removed instead. Those leaves on her back don't look good, beleive me.

That's why I don't get tattoo(s). Yeah they can be pretty, but I know that I will regret them. I know this for sure. What I would do is just get something, like a necklace, or bracelet to remember him by.

I suggested very strongly that you didn`t do it.
