Can anyone recommend a wireless router?

Just got a HP Mini laptop. Desktop is connected by cable, so the laptop will be the only computer on the network. Will be used for casual surfing, streaming etc. Anything good for under $100? Somewhat computer savy but I've never set up a router before, so something simple please. Thanks in advance.

you will discover all of them have some detrimental comments, yet im with Virgin Media and that i've got the linksys with speedbooster that i've got been given from laptop international for 39.ninety 9 and whilst in the past (i think of there much extra low-fee now) and it works super and that's extremely ordinary to setup the training are nicely exact. I did have a d-hyperlink router earlier and it replaced into fairly annoying! i saved having an exceedingly undesirable lag spike (rapid then slow rapid the slow etc..) so i went to the malls and introduced the linksys and havent had any issues yet :) If i had to get yet another one i could % linksys !

Anything netgear usually sets up problem free, and works relentlessly.
