When I was in elementary school, there was a yard-duty woman with a heavy Mexican accent. One time she asked me a question and I said, "Sorry, I don't speak Spanish." I think I did that 2 or 3 times before I realized she was speaking English...

I was once shopping Yahoo Answers Japan (referred to as Chiebukuro) to look if I might uncover anybody who has an specific enjoy of sending their part-Japanese kids to a public college. Well except we were in english class. And we had to evaluate eachothers essays, so we got random partners right? I was partnered up with this asian girl, kind of to her self, never raises her hand type of girl right? And well Me always being outgoing and friendly I greeted her and she just smiled, I told her she can go first (because we had to read outloud our papers to our partners) So she was reading right...I couldn't understand a single word she said lol...So I was like ummmmmm (in my head) then I took her paper and was pretending to be all "Oh yes I liked this part, I like that, Can I see your paper I wasn't really clear what you meant" When I took her paper I quickly skimmed the entire thing LOL....
