Will there be a high demand for male teachers in the future?

Is there a higher demand for male teachers than female teachers? What will the demand for teaching in Canada be like in the next few years? Thank you!

Theoretically, there should always be a demand for male teachers, not just in Canada, but throughout all the world.  Sadly, positive male role models are few and far between nowadays, so male teachers could fill that widening chasm if only those in authority consider the children's needs rather than their own bias.
