What is the normal cost for the extras after prepaying for a funeral?
The preplanned and payed for funeral apparently doesn't cover costs for gravediggers or the minister. Will there be a bill from them or is it voluntary? What about pallbeareres...do they expect payment? And what about anyone else that does anything? The coffin, funeral home expenses, burial plot and tombstone are already paid for (except the date engraving).
I live in Canada.

Relax!!! Most prepay ed funerals are JUST THAT PREPAID.
There may be a small fee for the minister and organist;preparation for grave and burial is paid.Of course the reception after the service isn't covered but you can ask you friends to bring different dishes of "grub".
There are no surprises! A good tip is to chose a coffin ahead of time...no one need know about this..

no clue, but i don't think funerals should ever cost more than $5,000...its ridiculous!
