Are exorcisms real? ?

    People performing the rituals - that certainly real.

    The ritual actually having any effect - that's certainly not real.

    There actually being a possession for the exorcism to work on - that's certainly not real.

    No.

    I saw an exorcism once, it was very strange...but it did not convince me.

    I rather think exorcisms are more about hysteria and the power of suggestion than they are about demonic possession.
