Looking for some good teen series?
I've already read:
The Uglies
Percy Jackson
The Saga of Darren Shan
The Hunger Games (I enjoyed this series immensely!)
The Mediator
Blue Bloods
Pendragon
Harry Potter
The Lord of the Rings
Twilight (did not really like it but the books are way better than the movies lol)
A Series of Unfortunate Events
And more but this is off the top of my head.
As you can see, I really enjoy fantasy. I don't like things like novels centered around love, though I do like romances. I love Hunger Games because it was so intense. One of the things I did not like about Twilight were the characters, how focused the love triangle was, and the over-excessive use of the word 'chagrin' (did anyone else notice this or was it just me...?).
K and one more thing, one thing I didn't like about Lord of the Rings was how long it went on for. It's a fantastic story and I absolutely love the movies but it didn't give me a sense of excitement while I read it.
Thanks for any suggestions :)

3) The FableHaven Series by Brandon Mull (pretty good series.)
4) The Heir Series by Cinda Williams Chima (these books are also known as the Warrior Heir, the Wizard Heir, and the Dragon Heir. i love the Warrior Heir the best but the sequels are good too)

Eragon, Eldest, Brinsingr by Christopher Paolini. These are fantasy, they are like one series. I'm not sure if you will enjoy it though. It is about a boy of 15-16 who is out hunting. He comes across a polished blue stone and tries to trade it for some meat, but the butcher refuses to take it. Then, the stone turns out it isn't a stone at all, rather an egg, and it hatches into a dragon.
And from then on the boy and his dragon fight their evil king with the help of the Varden.
I found these books great, although, there is still one book that has yet to be printed. It is called "Inheritance" and comes out on the 9th of November, 2011, although you may need to order it now if you want to get it then, as not all book stores will have it immediately.

A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet, Far Thing by Libba Bray. Set in Victorian England with a supernatural twist.
The Chanters of Tremaris. Possibly for slightly younger readers, but I enjoyed them a lot.
Anything by Tamora Pierce. She's written a ton for two distinct worlds: Tortall and Emelan. Most of her protagonists are strong, independent females, but she manages to make them all distinct.
The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffery. Dragons and riding them, what more could you want?
