what is bank of america easy rewards?

What is the catch? I was offered 3 different gift cards but cannot find the 'catch'. Is there one? I don't want to sign up for some fricking email marketing campaign or discount program!!

    Gift cards don't offer easy rewards.

    Debit cards used to offer cash back - but that was discontinued

    Credit cards offer rewards.

    Are you falling for some sort of scam?

    Careful about emails with links.

    They will get your personal info and steal your identity in a heartbeat
