PLEASE HELP.. Would this look okay?

Question

If I got a tattoo that was a solid black shape outlining words for a tattoo? Like there is a word, but the word wouldn't actually be tattooed, just outlined, so the word would be just my plain skin. I don't know if that really makes sense.. But would that look okay? And if not, is there anything I could to make it look better?

Yes, that is a negative image.
You need to have references, a script type, and a good tattoo artist, who will draw this up for your approval.

find a script that appeals to you, and then have your tattoo artist do a 'negative version of it (like a stencil)
