We're coming up on the half way point, what are your thoughts so far?

Winnipeg is in first, and Saskatchewan is in last. Did anyone see that coming heading into the Labour Day Weekend?

LoL No I did not see that coming! I'm a big Rider fan, and while it sucks that they having been doing so poorly, the awesome thing about Rider Nation is that having fun is still our #1 priority. Games are just as fun as they were last year and the year before and the year before, and that's what I look forward to on game days: having fun and celebrating what this team means to us and our province as a whole. And when they lose, well hey, it's just another excuse to drink more beer! Haha :)

Do I see the Riders winning the GC this year? No. BUT...now that Ken Miller is back in as head coach, and more importantly now that Doug Berry is outta there, I see things turning around for the Riders. (At least I hope it can turn around at least a little!)

As for the Bombers, y'all are a solid team... see ya at the Classic!

I think the biggest surprise is Winnipeg being in first. Saskatchewan being terrible doesn't surprise me too much. I figured they did way better than they should have last year. They don't have anything that even resembles a decent QB. I'm a little surprised that BC isn't doing better. Also, I didn't expect Edmonton to start so strong, although they have quickly fallen back to where I expect. I do think Calgary will continue to run away with the west and will face Montreal in the grey cup. As for Winnipeg, I think they will stay strong, but I really don't see them keeping this up for the entire year. If they do, good for them.

Finally Winnipeg's having a great season. I always think to myself Winnipeg is going to have a great season, but this season is reality.

At 3:00pm today, I hope Winnipeg destroys Saskatchewan.

I am also surprised about Edmonton. Great start, now they are doing terrible.

Obviously Montreal still have good seasons. Won't see them going under 500 until A.C is gone.

Then the rest of the teams are doing around where they were last year.
