    Do I need a stock broker? Yes.

    How do I Invest in Stocks? You pick a stock you want to own and buy it with your brokers software.

    How do I keep track of my stocks? By checking the price and news of it. Use Yahoo! Finance.

    How do I follow what's happening in the stock market? Yahoo! Finance and watch CNBC.

    Yes every only broker does. Check out Speedtrader, Interactive Brokers, Thinkorswim, TDameritrade, Tradestation. They are all useful brokers for investing.

    How do I Invest in Stocks? Through a broker, which cane be online, like etrade/scottrade etc

    How do I keep track of my stocks? hourly/daily/weekly personal effort is needed depending on your trading timeframes

    How do I follow what's happening in the stock market? cnbc, bloomberg, reuters, yahoo finance and google finance are good.

    Ans: I would like to advise you to refrain from stock trading during these critical times. For updating on stocks I prefer Bloomberg.However, I advise you to be careful about the brokers also!This is my sincere advice, particularly to the new entrants. Rest is your choice.
