What laptop brand and features should I buy?
-Going into first year university in Toronto
-I watch a lot of movies so I want a screen of 15-17 inches but has to be portable too
-I don't game at all but it's possible I could once in a while, I do download lots of music
-I want decent ram-I'm thinking about 3-4 GB and HDD 400-500 GB
Ive heard good things about Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony. I don't want a macbook. My budget is around $500.I want to buy a new laptop, no online or refurbished ones. Music, Movies and University. That's basically it.

I'd suggest the Lenovo Ideapad Z560. You can see it and check out the details at http://amzn.to/r5qFdy. It's got a 15.6" display, 500 gb hdd, 4 gb of RAM. Amazon has it for $550, you might be able to find it cheaper someplace else. The processor is Intel Core i5. For watching movies and listening to music this is the one to beat.

The iBookG4 is superb, of direction you choose on airport sign, and it has some issues that take extra effective than others. I propose you get the main recent in Apple. bypass to an apple keep, ask for help, and ask for the constructive aspects you need, they might desire to signify a stable one. X) wish i helped! X)
