Would a 1970 6 cylinder camaro come with a 10 bolt rear end or a 12 bolt?

And what would the tach redline at?

    The car in question could be ordered with either rear, says my Camaro Buddy. Most likely the 10-Bolt. The 250 Six-cylinder would orange line at 5200 and red at 5500, also according to my old friend.

    10 bolt only.. Only the performance versions (SS and Z28) got the 12 bolt rear end

    With the straight 6, it would have the 10 bolt.. If auto trans a 2.73 rear gear if man. trans a 3.08 gear. Only open rears, no posi, not even an option on straight 6 cyl cars.
