what color should I paint my room?

I want to paint my room this summer and I don't know what colors to choose. My accent colors for the objects and bedding etc. are blue and red, and can be changed to some extent. I want an accent wall. The colors I'm thinking are either (neutral) green, dark red, or a (neutral) blue for the accent wall and a neutral brown for the other walls. My ceiling is white and the carpet is a light sand-ish color. The wood color for my book case and desk is kinda like this http://www.bamboofloorings.org/wp-content/uploads/...

I'm a 13 year-old boy btw

Please comment if you have any ideas :D

Since you have red and blue, which are two of the 3 primary colors, why not use light and darker gold for the the walls. (Gold is a form of yellow which is the 3rd primary color.) That would go well with your carpet and bookcase too! For the accent wall, use the darker gold.

Why don't you try mydeco.com's 3D room planner. You can experiment with different colours, add wallpaper or art to the walls, add furniture to the room, change or add lights and light fixtures, change the floor, add curtains or blinds to windows and view the room from different angles.

I used it when I was decorating my room and it really helped me see what colours worked well together, how to organise my room and put my furniture, it's really easy to use and helped me save a lot of time and money.

Plan the room out before you buy anything ot make any big decisions.

    Hope that helps.
