What is trinity and did Jesus teach about it. Explain in details?

I need to explain trinity to my kids because our priest failed to make any sense out of it, and please do not tell me that Jesus prayed to himself and he resurrected himself.

Though Jesus never stated that he was God's son, he never denied it when others said that they knew that was who he was---Luke 22:66-70 is the record of one of these times:

"At length when it became day, the assembly of older men of the people, both chief priests & scribes, gathered together, & they haled him into their Sanhedrin hall, saying:  “IF you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them: “Even if I told You, You would not believe it at all. . .  However, from now on the Son of man will be sitting at the powerful right hand of God.”  At this they all said: “Are you, therefore, the Son of God?” He said to them: “YOU YOURSELVES ARE SAYING THAT I AM.”

He had indicated with several other things he'd said while with his followers,my favorite being:

"...I am ascending to my Father and Your Father and to my God and Your God."---John 20:17b

Since the ALmighty God has NO God, this makes *very obvious* that Jesus is NOT his Father.

The very basics of 'trinity truths' are given in the article:

    "Exposed: Six Myths About Christianity"

    - Myth #4: 'God Is a Trinity'

    http://watchtower.org/e/20091101/article_05.htm

A much more detailed explanation of the trinity teaching in the churches,

compared to what the Bible itself teaches, is covered in detail in the brochure:

"Should You Believe in the Trinity?"

    http://watchtower.org/e/ti/index.htm

Jesus warned that many would teach man-made pagan myths in place of Bible truth,

and to ignore them & their untruths:

"Many will say to me: 'Lord, did we not. . . . perform many powerful works in your name?'

Yet I will confess to them: 'I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness'." --Matthew 7:22-23

"For false Christs & false prophets will arise & give signs & wonders to lead astray,

if possible, the chosen ones. You, then, watch out . . ."---Mark 13:22,23

    The apostles added:

"For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; & they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories."---2 Timothy 4:3,4

". . . There will . . . be false teachers among You. These very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects & disown even the owner that bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. Furthermore, many will follow their acts of loose conduct, & on account of these the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively. . ."---2 Peter 2:1-3

For these reasons, God's Word instructs us to :

"TEST the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God,

because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."---1 John 4:1

"MAKE SURE of all things; HOLD FAST to what is fine."---1 Thessalonians 5:21

The Trinity is a construct based partly on the Gospel of John, Chapter 1, about "the Word (Logos)". "...And the Word was with God, and the Word was God, ... (and) in the beginning with God... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us". This is a mystical reference to Jesus Christ that has been interpreted by the Christian Church as meaning that he was part of God, and is now believed to be the second Person of God. The first Person is God the Father. They also refer to the story of Christ’s baptism in when a dove appears above Jesus’ head, and a voice is heard saying “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17 and Luke 3:22).

There are many references to the Holy Spirit in the New Testament, and again this has been interpreted by the Christian Church as the third Person. Some theologians have tried to square the circle by explaining that the Son issues from the Father, from eternity, and the love between the Father and Son is itself a Person, the Holy Spirit.

The doctrine of the Trinity was adopted generally in the Council of Nicaea in 325CE. It's tempting to think that it's influenced by other pagan beliefs. Theologians try to make it sound technical by referring to the Triune God - One God, with 3 Persons.

A book on Theology I’ve got sometimes takes a more recent concept or construct and reads it back into earlier scriptures. So they might then interpret earlier scriptures as referring to newer doctrines that the author never intended. So in Genesis 1, when it refers to God saying "Let us ...", they then re-interpret that as the Trinity talking to itself; the author had probably envisaged the Canaanite pantheon (Elohim, sons of the Most High God El Elyon).

Teach your kids the truth, that the trinity is a satanic lie that has absolutely no basis in the Bible, not even a John 1:1. Trinitarians have mistranslated this verse, as well as 1 John 5:7, to change the Bible into a trinitarian Bible.

  • Quick answer NO.

you first must realize that the bibles today are from the Mistranslated and Misinterpreted Greek and Latin Scripture from the from the Hebrew dialect Aramaic that was spoken from Abrahams time through Chists.

Though the words were pretty much accurate, the concepts from the Aramaic was not foot noted.

Most use 1 John 5:7 as a reference(For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." )

The passage is called the Johannine Comma and is not found in the majority of Greek manuscripts. and not found in the Aramaic:

1 John 5:7. The sick [man] replied and said, "Yes, my Lord. [But] I do not have

anybody*, that when the water is stirred up, who will throw me into the

[pool of] baptism. Except that before I can [go down into the water,]

somebody else goes down before me."

The western Orthodox Church later name the Catholic(universal) church was founded by Paul and the scriptures were "massaged" To align with pauls views.

Later they were massage more to meet the requirements of Constantine I in 300AD.

the Counsels continued to massage the text through the 1800.

    as an overview:

it is hard for humans to get the concept that the Holy spirit is not a he or she but like the wind.

you can not see the wind, but can feel the effects.

the holy spirit (G-d) covers billions of light years of our physical space and can be in all places at once.

In the same way it is hard to fathom that G-d can occupy a human host and still be everywhere.

Christ himself refers to himself as the son of man (idiom for human) with the holy ghost with in.

for you kids explain that many do not understand the scriptures as they were written before translated.

That the trinity came from the concept Of Christ receiving the Holy Ghost when baptized by John and referring to himself as the son of man. The Aramaic of Christ father was not like human farther but that the holy Ghost in him was part of the Holy Ghost that is everywhere.

You say that to them and their eyes will gloss over.

so those created the trinity to explain it.

I put a link for your reading.

    Holy Trinity reveals one God

The three persons of the Holy Trinity are distinct and separate: yet, they are one (Eph. 4:4–6). This gives us the mystery of the Godhead—we wonder how this can be? The Christian Church holds the doctrine of the Holy Trinity as one of their oldest beliefs (1 Pet. 1:2). As we look at the traditional teachings of the Christian Church and study the Bible, we should grow in our understanding and accept the Holy Trinity by faith (Luke 3:21, 22).

    Holy Trinity—One God

The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit,

three separate Persons, and yet One.

    Divine mystery beyond perception.

We look at One—We look at All.

We pray to One—We pray to All.

    We love One—We love All.

    One love’s us—All love us.

    Father–Son–Holy Spirit—One God.

The mystery of the Holy Trinity separates the Christian Church from other religions.

Ok the Trinity works like this. The Father is the planner, Christ is the tool and the Holy Spirit is the action that put the plan into action by using the tool.

    1. God, the source or the unborn one

    2. God, the Father,

    3. God, the mother

Christ is the fourth, he is the Son of the Father and the Mother.

the Holy Spirit? not clear could be the Source, the Father and the Mother who join forces.

sources: gnostic christian, the Bible does not really elaborate a lot on this item.

If the definition of the Holy Spirit is correct, you could say that the Holy Spirit is the Trinity.

The word "trinity", (along with rapture, among others), is not found in the Bible. But this does not mean that the concept is not taught there. The word "bible" is not found in the Bible either, but we use it anyway. Likewise, the words "omniscience," which means "all knowing," "omnipotence," which means "all powerful," and "omnipresence," which means "present everywhere," are not found in the Bible either. But we use these words to describe the attributes of God. So, to say that the Trinity, (or rapture), isn't true because the word isn't in the Bible is an invalid argument.

No Trinity in the Bible, Huh?

    * Matt. 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

    * 1 Cor. 12:4-6, "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6And there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons." (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

    * 2 Cor. 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

    * Eph. 4:4-7, "There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. 7But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift." (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

    * 1 Pet. 1:2, "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure." (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

    * Jude 20-21, "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith; praying in the Holy Spirit; 21keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life." (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)

Stlll want to say that there is No Trinity in the Bible?
