Are you upset about the races moving for the Indianapolis race weekend?

Or are you happy?

Basically, the Nationwide race is gonna move from the LRP (Formerly ORP and even more formerly, IRP) to the big circuit of IMS next year it appears. The announcement is expected to be made Wednesday.

I was gonna go to Indy this year, but it ended up being impossible. I was gonna just go next year instead, but I was looking forward to the Truck and Nationwide races even more than the Cup race, and now with the Nationwide race being on the big track, I'm not sure I want to go anymore. Thoughts?

Nationwide won't bring crowd numbers up for the Sunday race. I hate the decision. Even though I'm an IndyCar fan, and only watch stock cars if I want a nap, I liked watching the races at LRP/ORP/IRP, and Nationwide/Busch was always entertaining. Grand-Am running the road course isn't so much a bad idea, but Nationwide doesn't belong at IMS, in my opinion.

I prefer the short tracks there LRP/ORP/IRP whatever there name is, the nationwide races were great there, not a dang snooze fest like the Brickyard. Nascar loves to ruin stuff, i'm beginning to wonder if they even like short tracks any more.

Are you serious!?!? I guess NASCAR is trying to get rid of all the short tracks and replace them with super long tracks and cookie cutters. ORP is one of the top three tracks on the Nationwide circuit in my opinion. They can run anywhere on that track. The big IMS SUCKS for the Sprint Cup AND every other cars. That's stupid if true.

I'm pretty surprised that the attendance at Indy is that bad. Even after the tire fiasco it hasn't recovered. Now I don't know if that was the case, or it's just because of all of the American sports are suffering attendance wise. I really think that NASCAR should bring back the types of awards that they had when they were w/ Winston. Brian France thinks otherwise and cares more about money.

The nationwide cars have less downforce=more passing, so the Brickyard N'Wide race could be like the 2005 Brickyard 400, which IMO was the best race there. Cup will likely suck with a johnson win, like all other brickyard races.

Stock cars at the Brickyard is a big snooze fest. IRP is the place for great racing action.
