PAPER JAM keeps flashing but there is no paper jam,the head moves freely.

Open the printer cover to confirm that there is no paper jammed in the printer and also check for any other object or debris that may be in the printer. If there is no paper or debris trapped in the printer, the paper sensor may be malfunction; in this case I would advise contacting Brotherl Technical Support for further help.

You've probably got a small piece of paper stuck in there. Did a piece jam that you had to pull out? Were you running labels and one small piece got stuck?
You'll probably need to have a good look at it with a flashlight and see what's wrong.
I used to run labels on my printer and had similar problems in the past.
