Pipe drains via the washer drain pipe?

When draining water from the toilet, tub etc, it comes out the drainage pipe in the basement for the washer. We have snaked the main line going to the sewer several days ago and has been working fine till this evening. Noticed today that the water in the toilet was moving as if air was in the line, then when going to take a shower air bubbles came into the toilet. Toilet and tub didn't drain, took the plunger to the toilet and it drained out the washer drain pipe again. Please help!

your main line is plugged again or the snake didn't remove the whole plug and it is still catching things. for that short of a time most reputable companies will warranty the cleaning of the main (depending on what they found in the first place).

Your main drain is still not draining freely. Snake time again. They do make an attachment that ties the washer hose to the drain line so that water cannot come out there. It has to have a check valve and an air gap built into it. It is not very expensive. Ten or fifteen dollars. An appliance repair service usually sells them.

sounds like you have a broken line under ground or some roots are in your lines
