Is it better to read the book first and then watch the movie, or watch the movie first and then read the book?

It really is better to read the book first since this is what the movie is based on, and it got more details, and they can even give more specific character background than the movie, and there are times that some movie scenes doest even makes sense, or ''whats the point of that scene'' since they skip things in the book, and they dont really gave the full detail of every pages it have.

I like watching the movie first,it can help you understand the book better for instance I tried to read Jurassic Park and Firefox Down but was confused by some of the tech stuff and could not picture the plane etc,so I could not finish reading but after seeing the movies ,I went back and read the books and enjoyed the much more

The book usually comes out ahead of the movie. Better to read first then watch.

read the book because the book is always better. that way if anything is left out of the movie it makes it more fun to watch bc you know what is supposed to happen. ALWAYS read first.

Read the book then watch the movie to recap stuff will be left out but the plot and everything essential to the story line will be there

That depend on the kind of movie you're watching, and the kind of book you're reading:

So if the movie has a happy story, feelings, inspiration. Then i think it's better to watch it later to carry the feelings with you before sleeping.

But if the movie is like thriller, sad drama,,,etc. Then it's not advised to watch it before sleeping directly because it has a bad influence on your subconscious. So in this situation I prefer reading a book.

read the book because if u watch the movie, then when you read the book, it will feel wayyyy drawn out, and you will be skipping over pages because you feel like you have already read it a thousand times.
