What's with all these deleted questions?

Has anyone noticed in the last few weeks that a whole bunch of perfectly normal and inoffensive questions are being deleted? It's so annoying. It's normal for nasty questions to be deleted, but I'm talking about things like how to bake cookies or someone has a sore tooth. Puzzling. Are people doing this for fun?

Many questions are inane or not within the rules and people are getting sick of them and report whenever they see them.

Your examples are not in enough detail to see if it is a violation or not..

Many users are ignorant of what makes a legitimate question or not.

NO Every time there is an influx of new users we see an increase in violations. There are many violations besides being offensive. Rule is a question must seek knowledge or advice beneficial to ALL.

Anytime a user phrases the question using the pronoun I, the question is a violation for chat.

Not taking the time to read the Community Guidelines and take the pop quiz will result in constant repetition of the same bad habits
