Until recently, my computer would remember my login information for the sites I use often, but it has stopped?

How do I restore that function - I hate having to type in every username and password. My husband says he didn't touch any settings, but something has changed in the past few weeks. Help please!

Make sure your computer is set up to accept cookies. Just go to tools>options and look around and you should find it.

If you're using Firefox, try this:

    1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.

    2. Click the Privacy tab.

    3. If the Always clear my private data when I close Firefox checkbox is checked, either uncheck it or click the Settings button next to it.

    4. If you clicked the Settings button, make sure the Saved Passwords checkbox is clear.

    5. OK out of everything.

    6. Click the Tools->Options menu item again.

    7. Click the Security tab.

    8. Make sure the Remember Passwords for Sites checkbox is checked.

    9. If it already is, click the Exceptions button to see if your sites have somehow been put in the exception list.

    10. OK out of everything again.

    Hope that helps.

I think lastpass is a little bit more secure than saving your passwords with your browser. One advantage of last pass is that it can be used on any computer. So if your computer crashes, you will still have your passwords.
