What was James Bond drinking?

If you watch the James Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace,' you may remember Bond having several drinks on board the aircraft that takes him and Mathis to Bolivia. I do not think the drink is not a Martini. The bartender tells Mathis the composition of Bond's drink: Gin, Vodka, and an ingredient I do not know, and a slice of lemon peel. What is the missing ingredient, and have you had this drink yourself? Thanks!

The drink is called a "Vesper". Named after the character Vesper from Casino Royale.

    The recipe is as follows:

    3 measures of Gordon's

    1 measure of vodka (unspecified)

Half a measure of Kina Lillet

You're not going to find Kina Lillet anywhere. The closest thing would be Lillet Blanc.

It's basically a super martini, but all that gin is going to mask the taste of the Lillet. It's a pretty awesome drink, regardless.

Well, he does normally drink a Martini and it would have Vermouth in it but not Vodka and Gin, traditionally just Gin and Vermouth are in a Martini.

I've never had a drink mixed with Gin and Vodka, that would be weird. Maybe he said Gin OR Vodka, since there is a Martini variation made with Vodka.
