why dose blander and alen keep trashing toyota?
i mean they sell the most and are proven to be better than gm or ford,yes there is all the media hpy on recalls,but they talk as if gm has no ref\calls,toyota has 170 recalls,so far,chevy alone has 700,not gm but chevy alone,blander works for wal mart and thinks he knows somthing about cars cause his DAD was a mechanic in the 50.s as if the cars are the same from back then,yet they go out of there way to trash toyota and give false information,if you 2 are reading this,al quit crying and deal with it ,TOYOTAS ARE STILL BETTER THAT FORD<blander you as well,you think gm is better,i was a chevy guy till i got my hands on my fist toyota,so dont tell me they are better on gas and last longer,my z24 had 150 00km and already windows wont open,ac stopped working,car would shut off when too hot,my wife has a 92 camry with 400 000km and still runs like a champ,i have a 01 camry with 200 00km and still looks new,i guess what im asking is why do some losers like this still crying about cars,as if they own the company,get over it,ford and gm needed a bailout and the toyota recall hype is how they screwed the world into thinking that gm is better so they can pay the bailout back,,,last year toyota was number 1 now they are not,they are still the same cars,no one switched them over night,so what they ghave recalls,show 1 machine that dosnt,i mean car,scooter,washing machine,they all have recalls,toyota is putting all theres out there now ,ferrari just had one,i wonder why every recall that comeout for a none american car company its put on the news yet when ford refuses to deal with intake issue they are having now with the new focus no one says anything,my neigbor just got her focus 2 weeks ago and its been towed to the dealer 2 time already and they refuse to fix it,thats how they are getting more money,not cause the cars done brake but they refuse to fix then when the do,,
they are not my frends,we dont talk out or butts like these 2
i love how he said ford has been makeing better quality for years,really how do they explain the faulty intakes or the sudden fires.

I strongly agree with you. There is no need to trash Toyota. They made a mistake, thats all, and thats because we are all human, not perfect robots. Obviously, those people have never owned a Toyota and use the recalls as excuses to tarnish Toyota's reputation to an unacceptable degree. People need to realize that recalls always happen on everything and anything: economy cars, luxury cars (such as Ferrari the other day), eggs. etc. That does not make Ferrari or Toyota horrible cars at all. Recalls occur so companies keep customers safe with their product. Not to mention, these recalls of Toyota affected cars built in the USA. Toyotas that were imported from Japan were unaffected. That is because Toyota gets US auto parts manufacturers, such as CTS Corp and Delphi Corporation, to ship them parts -- two of which were faulty leading to 2 separate recalls -- to be used in their cars. Not to mention, if you look, at JD powers dependability ratings properly by organizing the list by rating, not alphabet, Toyota ranks #5, with Honda as #6, and Ford as #7. Obviously, dependability has nothing to do with the recall. Instead, it is safety issue. Early studies have proven that out of about 60 instances of "sudden acceleration" three-quarters did not apply the brakes because of pedal, not peddle, misapplication. There were only 2-3 instances in which brakes were actually applied. None of the studies have found that anything is wrong the electronic throttle, meaning the recall should have fixed the problem.
I have owned a 2000 Corolla for 11 years now with 100,000 miles and only had maintenance done on it. I am proud of it and will continue to buy cars from Toyota unless somebody can make better economy cars than Toyota.
To address emiller's comments, Ford has only been catching up to Toyota. It never has been better than Toyota, according to JD Powers. Frame rusts will occur for any car in areas with high salt concentrations on the road. Oil sludge appears in cars when some people neglect their cars by driving the car too hard and waiting too long for next oil change. For instance, someone flooring their car will need to bring it in at a 2000 oil change instead of 3000 miles so sludge does not build up. Toyota was never "bailed out" like GM. It took a $3 billion loan from a state backed bank in Japan. GM, on the other hand, took $50 billion of taxpayer money from the government.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'd bet money that a (so called) Chevy will win the cup. A (so called) Toyota may win it in the future, but not this year! Denny is the closest Toyota in points, but unless Jimmie has some real bad luck he's going to get that 5th championship under the chase format.

Ford has had better quality than Toyota for years. GM as a whole isn't far behind and some GM brands are also better than Toyota. According to JD Power you don't know what you are talking about.
Many GM cars and trucks do get better mileage than Toyota does too.
Why don't you bring up Toyota's bailout from the Japanese government? Are you ashamed to admit that they are struggling just like everybody else or just ignorant? Ford didn't get bailed out.
At least when GM and Ford have a recall they admit it and then recall it. Toyota denies it for a decade until they get sued then blame someone else. Remember the oil sludge, truck frames rusting apart, etc?

obviosly your freind is misin formed about toyota they are possibly the best built north american car out there, ford, gm and dodge have a fight in their hands and will never win unless they start building better vehicles so they try and bash toyota at ever chance to bring up their own sales.
