How do I uncock a paintball gun?
Received a paintball gun, it works fine...but am unsure how to uncock it. It is a Viewloader Orion. We pulled back the silver "pin" but see no way to release it? thanks!

the only way to release it is to pull the trigger. make sure nothing is loaded and the co2 is disconnected and pull the trigger. you can also hold the pull used to cock the gun, with a small amount of pressure and pull the trigger. if you are holding it correctly, it should release and let it go slowly.

You have to degas the gun, then pull the trigger to expel any remaining gas, or let the gas seep out on its own. The gun won't uncock otherwise.
