i give: v wells and daniel bard (i have power in my lineup)

i get: j broxton and brad lidge (he needs power, i have no closers)

Oooh that's tough. Wells is someone who is great for the 1st half and then fades, and Bard is going to be a real talent in a year or two. Still, you need closers, and Broxton is the best right now. Lidge may be demoted soon so I'm not sure how much he gets you. I'd bank on getting Broxton and consider Lidge a throwaway. If you have no closers, you need to do this.

I'd stay put, Wells isn't as good as he appeared to be earlier this year, but in such a deep league, he is certainly still a very solid outfield option. Bard is intriguing in a keeper. It does depend on if you can keep Bard though, if you can, it should pay dividends since if he doesn't give you a lot of holds, he'll be giving you a lot of saves instead. Once Papelbon is gone (which should be soon, in terms of keeper league time), Bard will be a closer, once he's closing, he should be one of the best closers in baseball. Thing here is if you won't keep Bard, then I'd suppose I would do this trade, since you'll probably be keeping Brox. If I were you though, I'd continue to punt saves (that's what I do in my holds league and I am doing very well) and focus on holds so you can improve SP or batting depth.

Since you have no closers I do this as Broxton helps you out in many cats (ERA, WHIP and Ks) Lidge is done my my eyes but maybe he goes on a nice run. Hate to give up Bard as I think he is the beantown closer on 2011 but it a good time to sell high on wells.

I do it as Brox is a top 3 closer.

I would do that for the reason that your in need for closers. Brad Lidge is good in keeper leagues because the stats show look him up and see how up and down his stats are. For Bronxton he should be good. Only problem is Daniel Bard may be very good.
