So a question about what to do once I'm 18....Are belly button piercings still "in"?

So I'm going to be 18 in 15 days and am pretty pissed at my parents right now. Not that that has much to do with my question, I was thinking of getting a belly button piercing, a tattoo, or something anyway. Any ideas? Are belly button piercings still "in"? If you go to a tattoo place can you get ink that most people aren't allergic to? I'm allergic to a lot of stuff. Thanks!

Update:

No I really think belly button piercings look cool, always have. I'm not just trying to make my parents mad. And no I'm not a "big girl", I wouldn't be getting that kind of a piercing if I was.

Update 2:

Innie (thankfully), outies are gross.

Of course they are, navel piercings are hot (:

Advice though; if you only wanted it to aggravate your parents, you're probably not doing it for the right reasons, the novelty will wear off after a while and you may regret it.

When I got my navel done I researched all the places to get it done at because belly piercing infections are pretty nasty. The place your getting your piercing at would probably do tattoos as well, once you've found the parlour, call them about any inquiries and I'm sure they'd be happy to help you. (:

There is no such thing as hypo-allergenic ink, so be careful there, a tattoo can infect and scar.

And a bellybutton piercing can reject if you have issues with metal in your body. And with all due offense, if you're a big or bigger girl, as in without a nice stomach and abs, don't get a bellybutton piercing.
