Pages keep redirecting me?

its a browser hijacker virus that leads your web links to unwanted websites. heres a solution for this

Sounds like you might be infected with the same virus I was. These "rootkit" viruses are very good at hiding themselves from antivirus software. But there are some tools out there that look specifically for these things and remove them.

The 1st one to try is TDSSKiller.exe:

If that doesn't do the job you can try Combofix (I used this to fix my redirect problem):

Oh, and to reduce the chances of a virus like this installing itself again in future, you should update Java (I heard it installs itself by taking advantage of a vulnerability in a previous version of Java). To do this open Control Panel and (in classic view) open the Java Control Panel. On the Update tab click the "Update Now" button. Enabling automatic updates for Java is also a good idea.

the virus changed your DNS settings in your home router.

go to ----- http://www.opendns.com/ ------- and make an account, get the free version, follow the instructions to change your routers DNS to theirs (by doing this you will ensure this never happens again)

Finally , open your command prompt, and type 'ipconfig /flushdns' without the apostrophes on the sides(this gets rid off the old DNS data) and hit enter. Restart your pc and it should be fixED

Then you should download malwarebytes and run a full scan just for safety

Try clearing your browsing data (i.e. History, cache, cookies, etc). Does this problem occur while using different web browsers (i.e. Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc)?

Finally, check the host file (C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts). Open the hosts file and remove any lines containing the internet protocol (IP) of your localhost, it might be 127.0.0.1, and a website URL, like localhost. However, do NOT remove the line containing the following, 127.0.0.1 localhost. Below is an example.

127.0.0.1 localhost (DO NOT REMOVE THIS LINE)

127.0.0.1 images.google.com (YOU CAN REMOVE THIS LINE)

1.2.3.4 google.com (YOU CAN REMOVE THIS LINE ALSO)

Also, I forgot one more thing.. Your computer could have a virus..

You're infected with a virus.

Its not you, its the web host.
