when employer calles your last job ?

are they calling them to ask about you before they set up an interview with you

or after.

and how often would they believe to what the people from last job said about you [bacuse they might hate you].

    It depends on the company that is interviewing you. Some only ask for verification of employment and dates you were employed. Others may go a bit further. As a broad concept, your former employer can generally say anything he or she would like about you as long as it is true or referenced in the frame of opinion.

    up to the interviewer. usually before as a previous employer could report that you were employed but refuse anything else, which is perfectly legal but has implications, etc...

    as a person who had to interview as many as 20 job posts seasonally and not wwant to re-interview for replacements during the season, i had ittle time to waste inteviewing people only to find out a previous employer wouldn't hire them back, etc.

    most employers have rules about what to say regardles sof whether they liked you or not and specifiy this over the phone, 'we are bound by rules which only allow us to verify employment" etc. however, if an employer really liked you, usually they will sneak in something which indicates this...
