I am trying to find a FREE way to post documents on the web.?
I run a Billiards League. I want to post Word and Excel documents for everyone to see. A hot link URL would be nice. It would be nice if they opened in html so people without Excel could view them.
I tried Google Doc's but you had to have a gmail account to view them.
I know you folks can come up with an elegant solution for me.
Is there a way that regular computer users can view a Google Doc's posting without having a gmail account?

it supports all normal formats and you can view in "scribd reader"
think of a youtube for documents.
if you have a website/blog you can also embed the docs in the page

Hmm...
Google Docs is the best choice for your issue.
If not, try Dropbox - just put the files in the "Public" folder on your account and then people all around can view them.
NOTE: People with an iTouch/iPhone can use the Dropbox app and view Excel and Word documents on their phone so this is a very good alternative.
