about toyota stop selling the lexus suv?
no why is it that a lexus truck COULD flip, and toyota stopped selling them till its fixed, yet ford has those econo van that have flipped many times and killed many yet not only are they still makeing them but they still sell them, why is it that the media were never on there butts about this,i mean to me toyota did what it should do to assure its owners the cars are safe and ford didnt even care yet everyone talks about toyotas propbelms,i know its cause toyota is a bigger (and better )company ,but if its good for ford to continue selling these vans shouldnt it be ok for toyota to keep selling these trucks, also,if you buy a suv(any one)and drive like a moron wouldnt most suvs flip or tip?im sure they would, and if they do how it it the makers fault,if your pulling a trailer with a rig and the trailer tips over ,would you blame the trailer makers?
i know what toyota is doing and as far as i know its pretty big of them, thats why im asking this question, why is everyone on there butts about this yet no one is complaning to ford to stop production on these and other models as well,
i understand that all suvs can tip,im asking why are they making a big deal about toyotas suv that could flip when no media is talking about ford van that do flip, that have flipped and has killed

Tall, heavy vehicles, mainly SUVs, have been a potential rollover problem for decades. Most people remember the Suzuki Samurai that Consumer Reports gave a Not Satisfactory rating to for its propensity to roll when drive hard around turns. In fact, the Ford Bronco II, in production at that same time, showed even more of a desire to roll over and play dead than the Suzuki. American magazine, American SUV ... who can say for sure.
SUVs try to have it both ways: they want to advertise big storage and seating, while trying to fit the mold of off-road vehicles -- short overhangs front and rear and high ground clearance. They achieve both by building up. Therein lies the rub. Mounting that big engine high up on a chassis raised to clear rocks in the bush, and on a larger platform than a rock-climber really should be carrying, results in a very high center of gravity. Expanding the track (distance between wheels on the same axle) limits the narrow places the vehicle can go. So now we're building up on a narrow vehicle. Bad idea! Add that to casual and even first-time wheelin' enthusiast drivers, and you get a lot of vehicles begging to tip over. Put a loaded top-heavy SUV on the freeway and face an emergency lane change and, again, you get that lay down and die feeling.
It doesn't just apply to this model of Lexus SUV, or to just Lexus. Consider this when buying any SUV.

All SUVs, trucks, and Vans are roll over hazards. Yet somehow certain people place more priority on overcompensating than actually not having a junker that wastes gas money and rolls over. Then there are the brain dead soccer moms who think that having the largest ugliest gas guzzler on the block will somehow make their kids safe-until of course it rolls over while they are talking on their cell phones. Also all these junkers are much more likely to be in an accident to begin with because the larger the gas guzzler the less likely it is to be able to avoid an accident in the first place.

Toyota stopped selling the Lexus SUV for now because with all of their other problems they don't need any more bad PR. Once they get it figured out & fixed, the SUV will be back on the showroom floor

The Tesla is an occasion of a extreme overall performance electric powered activities motor vehicle. regrettably it particularly is not any longer competative. It fee approximately $one hundred,000, it particularly is $30,000 better than gas powered activities vehicles that out carry out it. It takes 8 hours to recharge, on an identical time as a Corvette Z06 would properly be refuelled in approximately 5 minutes. For the $30,000 distinction you ought to purchase 10,000 gallons of gas at cutting-edge expenditures. this could means the Z06 for no less than a hundred and fifty,000 miles. Given all of this, the alternative is sparkling, i will purchase the Corvette.
