Anyone know of any types of trees that can handle damp conditions?

I have a drainage problem in a section of my backyard but would like to plant a few small trees or bushes (10-20ft.) for privacy. The previous ones died because of the excess water. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Cypress and willow trees are my two best choices. River birch will also work.

    well to be honest christmas trees azalia bushes and elephent ears plant

    don't know where you are located but birch are famous for growing in wet areas; also willows

    curly (corkscrew) willow is the only one i can think of off the top of my head
