How old were you when you started watching anime or reading manga?

When I was young I watched Pokemon around age 7 or 8..But to answer your question the age I knew about anime I was 12..I was watching Kodocha that was when I realised Japanese people created anime. So I guess Kodocha was my first anime..? Or Pokemon? Idk..if it's based on not knowing what an anime was then Pokemon...If it's when I know what an anime was then Kodocha..Lol

When I was 6, maybe. They had English Dub animes on tv. Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sailor Moon... Aaah, good times.

Ojamajo Doremi or Tokyo Mew Mew was probably the first anime I watched when I was 9/10

First manga I read was Hell Girl volume 1 when I turned 12. ^-^

Probably age 10. It did start with Sailor Moon (but I watched it on DVD with subtitles, so I wasn't just watching it because I saw it as kid's cartoon TV or anything... since this was wayyy after it stopped airing on TV).

I liked watching anime with subs, so I started to find more to watch on DVD (this was before fast Internet, haha)... another one of my early anime was Angel Tales. :3

I also started to read manga at age 10 (my first ones were Miracle Girls and Girl Got Game... it didn't take me very long to become a manga addict afterwards).

I was six years old. I've been watching anime off and on since them. My first two at that age were Star Blazers and SUPERBOOK.

I don't read manga much because my library system doesn't have that much manga in it's system, although it did have the first two volumes of a series called Pumpkin Scissors.

Well excluding Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and Yu Gi Oh! (aka stuff I watched when I was 5), It would have to be Peach Girl when I was 11 :)

My first manga was when I was 10, when I saw a classmate secretly reading Ranma 1/2 under her desk. XD

First anime is probably Code Geass. :D

I think I was like 10 or 11 and like all these animes were comming on right after another like crazy and i tink i just got addicted to it. First was the FullMetal Alchemist movie, then like 10 episodes of death note came on right after that then 2 episodes of naruto and 1 episode of bleach. Ever since then I was addicted :) But my friend showed me Bleach and InuYasha when I was like 8, She was 7 but I didn't like it then but now i love them! :D ♥♥
