What are some metaphors I could use to represent the immune system?
Biology project. I want to stay away from like soldiers protecting a castle. Give me something creative.

think of a security checkpoint to a high security government building containing vital info(your dna). the id cards are like the ribosomes and the antibodies are like the scanners. if its your body they pass through, if not then the antibodies (security guards) conform to the intruder and kills it if it recognizes it as bad. if not then it fights it off and works to develop a working antibody (stronger guard) to kill off the intruders(viruses)
