Is there anyway to get rid of best of answers?
I would like to know if there is anyway I can prevent best of answers from showing up at the top of my page when I log in. I am sick and tired of seeing the same questions at the top everytime I log in.

No, that is a function we all are stuck with. Most people just go immediately to a category or bookmark a category and skip the front page altogether.
