Jesus died for your sins?

He died for your sins, but you weren't even born, were you?

I need a Christian explain this to me, as I do not understand.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.

Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

    How likely is that????

    Think about it.

In the garden was the tree, we as a people (Adam and Eve) had to choose to walk with God or disobey Him and eat of the tree. True Love has to be a choice.Think of it, could anyone demand you to love them? That's what it would look like without a choice.

There had and has to be rules.(stop signs for example) God made rules for our own happiness. Not to eat of the tree was the only rule in the garden. We didn't obey. Death was the consequence. We all die and are born with a prideful selfish attitude, if you have kids you know what I mean. We teach them to share and be nice, it don't come natural.

Knowing that , to reach back to God in His perfection He made more rules, sacrifices. But people were doing that out of duty not love, the original meaning.

So, Jesus come as love and tried to show us how to live and to love. We still don't get it all right. He became the final sacrifice to God for our sins. It was a love issue. I think, God was about to ruin us all in fire because of our selfishness, but Jesus is our final hope, he took the wrath of God on himself to show us what love is all about and when we love him back and love others and follow His words the best we can we might be able to walk with God once again in the Garden of Eden and those of us there will surely burn down that damn tree this time so this won't happen ever again!!!!

He did no longer therapy us from sin, he offered us forgiveness for it. even nevertheless you're cured of a few illnesses, you nevertheless go through the indications till the ailment is abated. He accomplished the miracles as an illustration from God that he exchange into the Christ, the Messiah, and on an analogous time as he did those issues in front of the folk, many chosen to no longer have faith. there is not any blindness, or ailment, or death in Heaven. till Jesus returns, and establishes his reign on earth, it is the devil's turf. there is the place the afflictions come from.

Apparently, the all knowing and all powerful god didn't REALIZE that there was going to be Original Sin. So, he lumped all people (alive and yet to be born) into a category we like to call "Guilty". Then the only thing God could do was sacrifice himself in a horrific way to satisfy his own blood lust.

There is no such thing as "sin". We were born perfect, and anything we do that is not right, is strictly a matter of choice. Therefore, it is up to the individual to make retribution instead of saying "I can't help being bad, because god made me this way!"

I can't tell you how much that disgusts me....

Dude, I wish Jesus would make waffles for my sins. Everybody likes waffles. Not many care for death.. Just butter, though. Margarine is a sin. It can melt in Hell.
