Settle an argument : what do U think the feather in Forest Gump symbolizes ?

The random nature of life.

The.feather symbolizes destiny and dumb blind luck.At one point, Forrest says, "I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floatin' around accidental-like on a breeze. But I, I think maybe it's both." The feather seems to point to an accidental kind of life, but it always shows up at just the right time, so maybe destiny brought it there.

it shows the passage of time and that life is fragile, I also believe it symbolizes the way things somtimes fall into our hands and that the future is what we make of it.

Everyone can relate to someone else and find a connection but yet we are all unique in our own way.

that we are all just floating through life where ever the winds of change takes us.
