For women with foot tattoos, how is the pain?
I have two tattoos already but they are both on my back. I'm thinking of having one done on the top of my foot. The other two didn't really hurt at all and I have a pretty high threshold of pain, but I'm just curious is it's very different since there is basically no fat on that part of my body.

i tattooed my girlfriend on the foot she has 16 piercings she has a very high pain threshold and i tattooed 3 stars on her foot she screamed ! lol

If you have a high threshold for pain you should be fine. I have a compass on my left foot that didn't hurt too back because it was in the center with the points not going too far to the edge. BUT I got the other foot done with an anchor that covers the entire foot and it hurt really bad because he kept filling in towards the toes and sides of the foot, even though that skin is rougher it also has more nerves which may make you twitch your leg.
I recommend deep, slow, consistent breaths.

The foot is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo because it is just a skin and bones and it really does hurt alot more then the back does.

I have 8 tattoos including one on my ankle and 1 on each foot. I actually just got my left foot done yesterday, and yes, it's definitely the most painful, but it's definitely worth it. They're my fave.

Well i am not a woman and i do not have any tattoos on my foot but i have heard that the top of your foot is one of the most painfullest places to get a tattoo but once it is done it is well worth it.

For me the one on my foot was much less painful than the one on my back (aka the tramp stamp lol). The one on my back is larger and took a lot more time granted. The one on my foot only took about 1/2 hour and it's a ladybug. I love it! Not bad at all!

i have a tattoo on the top of my foot, and it really didn't hurt at all. i'd compare it to a cat-scratch it terms of pain-you know that stinging type thing? it, like you said, depends on your pain threshold. i would have gotten a bigger one if i had known it wouldn't hurt that much, but i was afraid, so i went with something smaller.

I have one on my foot (quite a large one) and it is more painful than most places, but it isn't unbearable at all. It goes numb after a few minutes!
