Can not locate the file for my photo card?

I have an olympus photo card with my olympus camera. i insert it into the slot of my computer, fits fine, but there is no external drive option or way to locate it.

Help please?

    Do NOT remove the media card from your camera.

    Install all the software that came with your camera, FIRST.

    Then, use the USB cable that came with it, and you will be able to copy your photos to your PC. Olympus writes the worst digital camera software I've ever seen.
