Windows defender question ?
Each time I re-boot my laptop , windows defender icon appears and a balloon window says , ...windows defender has been turned off. I have to open and click repeatadly to get it turned on again . Why?????

Are you perhaps running Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) as your anti-virus program.?
MSE includes Windows Defender in it, so it intentionally disables the separate Defender that comes with Windows.
