How to set up a Freight forwarding biz in Dubai?
By profession i am a freight forwarder and want to set up my own biz in Dubai, any tips to start from zero ? and is this OK in current scenario ?

it is very difficult for you to start from scratch especially if you do not know anyone or are not a local/national of dubai. if you are not aware yet you are required to have a local national as a silent partner. you will have to pay them every month and they will not be physically involved in the business. in addition to that, the start up process is a maze and you will need capital for entity establishment. i do not know anyone who has done this alone, but there are several affordable options, smaller firms who help you set up in dubai. you can also consider the virtual office option which many are doing right now. read this neat article on doing business in dubai http://www.dubai-information-site.com/business-in-...
