Homeopathic cure for alcohol poisoning?
Me and my friends, we drink a lot and there's a danger that one of us could end up with alcohol poisoning. Would it be possible for us to take a drop of alcohol, dilute it in clean water and use it as a homeopathic "counter-alcoholic" drink? The principles of homeopathy state that this should work right? As Samuel Hahnemann said, "like cures like!"
Hehehehe. Still haven't got an answer from our resident homeopath experts.

I suppose you are referring to acute alcohol poisoning, since alcohol poisoning in itself is the same as being drunk. If you are, why on earth would you even try that? We are talking about respiratory failure, coma and death. That is an emergency condition that should be treated by professionals, not by your drunk friends.
Also, since the person in question would most likely be unconscious, you'd risk drowning them if you tried to get them to drink water. It's really not a good idea.
The homeopathic cure for acute alcohol poisoning would however be to give the patient Nux vomica. It has been proved to be quite successful, but is still something that should be done by professionals.

Homeopathy is quackery. I learned that the hard way. Herbal medicine isn't bad if you do your research. The best way to deal with headaches is to know what kind it is. My best cure for tension and vascular headaches both is a hot shower for a long time.

The homeopathic cure would be to buy a Sodium Chloride IV bag and keep it around. This will work in a pinch for a hangover, and its also used for people who are severly dehydrated.

A hangover is actually the ONE thing that homeopathy can cure. Since the cure for a hangover is water. As for alcohol poisoning, once again homeopathy lands in the category of useless. Also, how is that people here can't tell the difference between alcohol poisoning and alcoholism?

I am all about homeopathic cures. I see a natural-path/herbalist and a energy coach. I take several different products provided to me by my natural-path/herbalist . During times of stress I ask my energy coach to help me with meditation and to help rid negative stress energy out of my body. Currently I have a ear infection and i am looking for a natural cure. So in sum, I am all about natural homeopathic cures, but alcohol poisoning is serious it could kill. So PLEASE GO TO A HOSPITAL and do as they say if you have alcohol poisoning. I say this because alcohol poisoning has to do with life or death and because I contacted my tural-path/herbalist who says there is no natural cure alcohol poisoning. Now she does not drink but she has a son who drinks. My natural-path/herbalist is all about homeopathic cures but if her son had natural cures but if her son had alcohol poisoning she would rush him to the hospital. She says natural cures can heal a lot but there a few things they cannot heal and alcohol poisoning is one of those. Please, Please Please, GO TO THE HOSPITAL IF YOU OR YOUR FRIENDS HAVE ALCOHOL POISONING. YOUR LIFE OR YOUR FRIEND"S LIVES HANGS IN THE BALANCE. I am all about homeopathic cures but not for this.

the cure for alcoholism is discipline, self control and believing in the power of you.
homeopathy cannot help you in this instance.

I've also heard it's a great hangover cure! It works as good as my homeopathic toupee...
