How do you put a marker down in Audacity?
How do you put a marker somewhere on a song in Audacity so I can remeber a certain part I want to cut while I determine the finish of the part I'd like to cut?

Unfortunately you can't.
The best you can do is zoom in then highlight the section. It can be fine tuned by hovering the cursor over the ends of the highlighted area until a hand appears. You can then adjust the edit.
Audacity programmers take note!
The two most annoying things about the app.
1: The inability to drop markers. (Need to fine tune with L/R keyboard arrows).
2: The inability to adjust the EQ in real time.
