Is this normal while taking clomid?

I started 100mg of clomid this month (CD3-7) and will also being doing ovidrel and IUI (probably next weekend or early next week).

During the 5 days I had no side effects whatsoever...except the occasional hot flash in the night. Today however I'm feeling hot all the time, emotional and very very tired. I also started having pains on my ovaries this afternoon (I have cysts and endometriosis so I'm used to this feeling but usually only the day I ovulate and during my period...)

Also my temps have been pretty much steady at 98.2 since the first day I took clomid. Could this be due to frequent waking up from hot flashes or does clomid raise bbt????

Should I be worried or just take these symptoms as a sign it's working???

Update:

got to love stupid morons....way to **** off an already emotional woman!

Update 2:

yes chick....I actually posted this same question on FT already :)

I always post it in both since I tend to get answers sooner on Y/A

Update 3:

but I haven't ovulated yet...my temps have been high since CD3...it's only CD 10

When I took clomid 50 mg I was very tired and moody from the day I started it until the day I got my period. The only time I had pains in my ovaries was when I was ovulating. What cd are you on? I ovulated about 8-9 days after my last pill each time. I would keep an eye on your chart and make sure you don't ovulate on your own. Your temps may be a little higher when on clomid from what I've heard as well.

When I had my iui I did gonal-f and lupron. The lupron was to stop all of my natural hormones so that the injections could work without interference. I don't know if they do that with clomid.

If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to call the doctor. That's what they're there for. Good luck!

I experienced the same thing when I was taking Clomid. I think it has a lot to do with the post-ovulation phase of the cycle. After ovulation occurs, your temperatures will usually be higher because of progesterone.

    Good luck!
