C&A:: Do you think anime and manga expresses who you are?

Ahaha, I think it does for me. And a lot of other things as well, like music. But I'm wondering if the people on C&A feels the same way. ;DD

Update:

And if you actually have time to sparee, in what ways does it express you?

LMFAO. I have no idea why I'm doing this when I clearly know I have an Speaking Assesement on Thursday to prepare, and a horror story to finish. >.>

I'm already craving a holiday break from school and workk. xD

Parts of it expresses who I am; parts of it expresses who I would like to be

I'm craving for a holiday too... just three more days of school, and I get two weeks off, but still... it seems so far away. T__T

Anyways, anime and manga both express who I am because of how the characters behave, and the messages in each individual story. I take things like that in manga/anime very seriously, and follow them closely. I've also started taking Japanese classes because of manga/anime.

I think it's because it inspires me so much, and I can relate to it equally as much too. :)

    Hey Mandy >___<!

before i knew what anime and manga really was, i was a lost soul just wondering and changing according to the social and environmental factors that influenced my life, but when i was 12 and found love hina [the manga] i thought it was the most amazing thing ever! I showed two of my friends and they were a bit like: O.o??

i guess it was cause Love Hina is a harem/ecchi manga, but still! i ignored their obvious "m'kayy..." thing and kept on buying the series >.<! then i discovered more and more! So yes, i think that manga played a major role in making me who i am, since now i feel like i have something of my own, something i can look forward to and enjoy. It doenst really "express" me in a sense that it gives me an image or a style, its just a part of who i am, I cannot see myself in the future not reading manga, its just impossible.

ehehehe i know what you mean...gosh i wish it was summer again T.T

    see ya around ^^

If you're asking does it fully express who I am then my answer is No.

Anime&Manga dont express who I am fully, however, they do express a fraction of who I am and they make up a portion of my personality.

In what ways does it express me?

Like I said, it expresses part of my personality, part of my outlook on life, part of the way I analyze life, it also factors in with my philosophy and a few of my viewpoints.

I think so too. If you prefer particular genres and series more others, it expresses what person you are, your character and interests. To express yourself on a larger scale it's best to draw fanart and write fanfics.

Not really, I like all kinds of anime, but i don't like all kinds of pretty much anything else. Music and art (when you compose it) express you more.

  • Not really, music and my art expresses me more.

To me, anime is just something i like to watch when im bored.

I'm not too passionate about it. :/
