On show Paranormal State, what is it that they study in university?

You don't need any legal ability, degree, license or certification to hunt ghosts. Anyone can call themselves a ghost hunter. Penn State and other real universities do not offer degrees in paranormal studies or parapsychology or metaphysics or any of those things that don't actually exist. They're probably business majors or something. It certainly doesn't seem as though they've taken, say, a basic physics class, or they'd actually know what those cool gadgets they have were doing - and that's no fun.

I'm not sure what the actual people have degrees in but I do know that you can get degrees in studying the paranormal and things like that. I know that there actually is a phantomology (the study of ghosts). I did a report on it for school. It was highly interesting. Look into something like that if you're interested in studying the paranormal.
