internet is fourty years old. what industry used the service at least the first ten years?

    the internet as it exists now is about 20 yrs old - Prodigy was one of the early nationwide services - I worked for a software store back when that cam out around 1991

    Actually the internet isn't nearly that old.. the INTRAnet is.. and that is like the internet but it is LOCAL instead of GLOBAL.. this was used by the government mostly and large corporations with lots of $$! :)
