Looking to buy a Subwoofer Box?

I found this one that someones selling as part of a setup (with crappy woofers and a ghetto amp) and its a Montego Designs BPC-360.

I'm looking for something similar IF they can handle having about 1200-1600 watts RMS thumping in them. Heres a pic so you can see what I'm looking for, and hopefully point me to it

Id really rather not have to pay 300 dollars for the case to throw away what its got inside

Update:

that box isnt specific to the woofer, its a generic 12 inch subwoofer enclosure, and that seller uses them for all varieties of woofers he sells. and they come as separate pieces, misworded that part of original question

Bandpass = boooo. They are very hard to build and tune correctly for good sound. These prefab ones are called "one note wonders" since all the bass sounds like the same, mangled note.

Look for a ported box. Even some of the prefab ones are tuned pretty low, 30-40 hz. I wouldnt mess with prefab bandpass boxes. And they are not made for high power IMO, they are best at making lots of bass with a low powered amp.

Generic boxes like that one are tuned to around 60Hz to "fit" most any sub. This means the subs you put in them aren't really optimized to perform to their best but rather they're just "there".

If you're wanting bass without any quaility, you've picked the right box!

You see custom boxes are made/tuned specifically for the subs that go in them. This is why having a box built for YOUR subs is best.
